Mechanical very stable. The mesh is integrated in the housing. No flow control. For small mesh sizes short centrifugation to accelerate flow is recommended.
The Mini Strainer is a universal sample preparation device (or cell strainer) to remove or concentrate particles from small volumes (up to 800 ul). Its unique design allows fitting on a wide variation of tubes, e.g. 1.5 ml /2.0 ml reaction tubes, 15 ml conical centrifuge tubes, FACS™ tubes, Cryo vials, 24 well plate and 48 well plate. In combination with a standard flow cytometry tube the Mini Strainer 5 um can be used as replacement for a strainer cap.
